I am a student from Prague who loves travelling and meeting new cultures and new people with different backrounds than I am used to.

I am currently studying theatre at the University of Olomouc (a bigger city in the Czech Republic) and so I probably needn't to say that theatre is one of my hobbies. I also love music and singing so I like connecting these two interests. Me and my musically talented friend (much more than I am... :( ) love playing instruments and remaking known songs.

Another interest that I have is ecology and to this topic conected vegetarianism. I like making my own product from eco-friendly materials and finding out my own ways to stop destroying our planet and stop vasting trash.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While studying high school I spent three month in Belgium where I started to love French and where I also started my "travelling passion".

Since then I travelled to the U.S. and through Europe where I met lot of foreigners but then I realized that it was never like in Belgium anymore, where I was able to live with the LOCAL family, so I wanted to find a way to get to know the locals more. That's why I applied for couchsurfing. It is a very pleasant way to find out the most about different cultures and meet new people with simillar interests that I have.

When I am at home and not able to get to different countries I can at least host other travellers and show them places in my home city (Prague) that they would hardly find themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to lot of different styles of music, it usually depends on my mood. One of my favourite bands is Kiasmos (which is rather electronic music) because it keeps me both relaxed and full of energy, then I can mention for example Tame Impala, Hilltop Hoods but also Sting or Leonard Cohen. I also like various alternative bands and singers whose genre is hard to specify. Me and my friend Mája, with who I am travelling this summer love to sing and she even has her own band White Russian Milkhake (on soundcloud.com) which I fancy a lot.

When I watch movies it is usually with intention to relax or to see rather artistically interesting and unusual movies. However one of my favourite movies is Lord of the Rings.

My favourite books are adventurous or educational (about topics that I am currently interested in).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing my culture. So I can show you my favourite places in Prague (either presonally or I can just navigate you to various interesting and unusual plces). I also love cooking so I can show you our typical meals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my talkative personality and adventurous spirit. I love sharing interests and observations but I definitely do not need a guide during my stays. I like going out on my own so meeting in the evening/morning and chatting is what I prefer.

I can also prepare you a dinner from my country or bring you some of our typical products if you like.
