Overview
About Me
I am a mexican psychologist who loves to travel and get to explore the world. I like to meet people with similar interests and who want to live life to the fullest... Because I think that's the reason we are all here. To live.
Also, I have no idea why my profile says I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am not. hahaha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet new people and new cities and explore those cities the way local people live. I'd also like to travel with a sense of adventure and not in a typical "tourist" manner.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I have lots of interests. When it comes to music I love music from latinamerican and spanish composers such as Jorge Drexler, Joaquín Sabina, Joan Manuel Serrat, Pablo Milanés, Ismael Serrano, Silvio Rodriguez, Kevin Johansen and many others. In general I love folky music as well.
I don't watch many movies but my favourite ones are Waking Life, and the Before trilogy (Before sunrise, Before sunset and Before Midnight), in general any movie that moves you to think is a movie I'll like.
I do love to read, if I list my favourite books this list would be endless... In general I like latin literature (García Márquez, Cortázar, Bolaño), I also love Paul Auster. I like to read books from philosophers (especially existentialists) and I have a thing for historical novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three years ago I decided I didn't want to die without haven't seen the northern lights in person, so I traveled to the Yukon (Canada) for 3 days and I was lucky enough to see them. It was the most wonderful experience. I've traveled to the Yukon a couple more times, there I get a sense of belonging which is difficult to explain. I just feel like my soul belongs there.
The other life changing experience I had was walking the Camino the Santiago in summer 2017. It consists on hiking all the way through Spain to get to the city of Santiago de Compostela. I walked around 250 kms (155 miles) in 10 days or so. At the end I hurt my feet and I wasn't able to get to Santiago but I got to know a lot of people and I learned a lot from me and from others. Walking all day long with a 5 kg (11 pounds) backpack knowing all you ever need is there, it's just a life changing experience.
