Hello everyone!
my name is Eva and together with my boyfriend Max, I will travel to Japan in August/September 2023. We will stay for about 5 weeks in Japan and are both really excited about it! It will be our first trip to Japan and we’re eager to learn everything we can about it.
My travels were concentrated on Europe so far, I did a big bike trip together with my sister from Germany to France for 5 months, went hiking in the Alps and visited Prague and Amsterdam. Max did already a few bigger trips to Argentina and Thailand for example. Together we did a few bike trips in Germany and went to Paris.
We’re both kind people, always in the mood to have a chat with friends and to meet new people. We love to be outside in nature as much as we love to explore a new city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people and making new friends! I see in couchsurfing the perfect opportunity to get to know a country or city the best way by staying with locals.
The idea of couchsurfing just amazes me! People who are hosting other people from all over the world and are sharing experiences with each other. I’m already looking forward to host people as well when I’m back form my travel!

Interests

My most obvious interest is traveling of course:D I love nature and being outside. But also cities are nice to explore! Music is another big passion of me. Both like listening and making music. I learned to play the piano for seven years. I love any kind of animals, especially dogs because I have a little one at home who stayed with my Mom since she’s too old to come with me.
I’m an active person and like doing sports like biking, hiking and doing yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m listening to a lot of music actually. So it’s hard to name a particular genre. I like Rock, Reggae, Indie, old music back to the 50’, Rap and more!:D Just everything that sounds nice:)
The same with movies, just horror movies are most of the time too much for me:D...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was traveling for a while together with my sister and she got really sick once when we were somewhere in the countryside of France. We asked an old woman with our little french for the way to a toilet and she noticed that my Sister was sick and we ended up in the house of her husband and her, where we stayed for about five days until Alisa felt better again. During this time we got introduced to the whole family and the whole village!:D They showed us around and when Alisa felt better we even got invited to celebrate their wedding anniversary together with them! We’ve got treated like a part of their family!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new things and making new experiences! I’m very open in this, I can’t say something’s bad until I tried it. I also like to share my experience with others of course and when I can teach something new to someone I’m happy about this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope of course that my stay will also give something to the host! So I would love to share my travel experiences with others and whatever else I can share!:)
