About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As someone who have experienced travelling through tour guides, backpacking and home stay, my most preferred mean of travelling is home stay. I feel that the best way to discover the hidden attractions and gems of a place is via the locals. For instance, my Japanese friend recommended me to check out the University of Hokkaido during my Hokkaido trip. It turned out to be an amazing place as a lot of Japanese drama was filmed there. There was no way I could have discovered that place without her recommendation as it is uncommon to put universities on the itinerary. Therefore, I am currently on Couchsurfing in hope that I will be able to discover the hidden gems of my visiting place and make more lifetime friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I enjoy listening to are instrumental music, especially piano music. My favorite composers are Yiruma, Joe Hisaishi, Sawano Hiroyuki and Kajiura Yuki.
My favorite genres of movies are action and psychology. Thus, my favorite list of movies are Transformers, Liar Game and Death Note.
My favorite genre of books is psychology. I feel that psychology helps me understand people better via their body language. Furthermore, I also enjoy reading fantasy books which include mythology elements too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have previously participated in a student exchange program during my high school. Through this program, I have learned Japanese and also made a lifetime Japanese friend. We remained in contact with each other throughout the years and I plan to visit her in Japan this coming November.
I am working in Yellowstone National Park currently. The amazing things that I have done in the park this summer include climbing a steep mountain known as Avalanche Peak, followed by sliding down the snowy peak. Furthermore, I have hike and sat directly underneath a waterfall known as Mystic fall, took a road trip all the way from Yellowstone to Rocky Mountain and Denver and back to Yellowstone in the span of 2 days. I have also soaked my hands into a warm river which is formed from the hot water of geysers and hot springs.
