My name is Rafaëlle. I am 20. And as you can see I come from Paris even though I don't live there right now. I speak English well and know a bit of German. I am very openminded and like to meet new people and learn about new cultures. I have spent a month in Sri Lanka in 2016, a month in China in 2017 and this year I am going to Romania, Serbia and Croatia. I hope my best friend and I can meet some of you guys because I would love for her to discover Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to my current studies, I am not living in my home town so I can't accept guests. Nevertheless I tried Couchsurfing with a friend in 2017 in Shanghai with his account and I really liked the idea. I know I don't have any reference but that's because I am a new member and I don't have many occasions to travel except during the summer. I hope to change that status this year. When I tried it last year, it put my trip to China on a whole new level of amazingness.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not very complicated. I like all types of music except maybe for Metal. Also I easily get scared so I don't really like horror movies. My favorite type of books is fantasy, sci-fi but I like biographies too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess jumping out of an airplane is something amazing but what I am most proud of is my trips. I organize everything, motivate my friends and save money during the year to be able to go where I want. I am proud to say that my parents never paid for them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe I still have to learn a lot from you since I am a new member.
I guess I can teach how to prepare a french meal because I love to cook and then teach some french too. I could teach some maths too but I don't really think somebody would be interested in studying during his holiday...
I could share some memories of my trips in Asia and give a few useful advice if somebody wants to go to Sri Lanka or China.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As soon as I come back to Paris, I would love to tell them all about the secrets of Paris, where to go to if you want to visit without tons of tourists, or where to go shopping without excessive prices. I would also love to share a french meal.
