I’m 22 years old and studying mechatronic engineering in Istanbul Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi. I can describe myself as a friendly person and good listener. I love to meet new people. Learning from them or teaching something to them very excites me. I born and raised in Istanbul. Because of that I know the city pretty well (at least the europen side :D). If I am free, I would like to show you around in day time. In the nights I am ready to introduce you Istanbul nights (If you are ready too.). Hosting is not only depends on me because I am living with my parents. But if you are lucky you could eat my mom’s homemade turkish foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I saw tourists in Istanbul and was thinking they don’t get the real experience of the city. And then when I thought about my experiences in foreign countries I was at their situation too. Ofcourse I want to see touristic side of a city but I would love to see the real part of a city and feel like I was living in there. And when I met CS, sad to myself “This is my app!”.

Interests

My life was all about music from 12 to 20. I was playing electric guitar and singing a little bit. Although I still love to go concerts and listen good music, from August, 2017 I can’t play anything because of some medical conditions. I hoped I would be back on stage in August, 2018 but after a surgery I still have same problem. Another passion in my life is sports. Any sport that have a ball in it is enough to me to get joy from it. Especially in soccer I have great knowledge I believe. Because after I couldn’t play guitar, I replace that free time with watching and try to analyze matches in twitter(in turkish). And I am kinda interest about history too. I love medieval times and love to learn and search about it. But it is just an hobby I can not say I am a historian.

Rock, blues and jazz fan but I think every genre has its own beauty and I could listen a good example of that genre for sure.

I can not say I like these kind of movies. I could watch from Fast and Furious to 12 Angry Men.

About the books I’m not that coherent :D I like fantastic novels generally.
