Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 years old film student that's eager to start exploring the world, getting to know new people and places and culture.
I'm easy to adapt to other surroundings. I enjoy a quiet night at home cooking and listening to music but I also enjoy a wild night out.
Oh, and I absolutely love cats, having 3 myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think one of greatest ways of learning a new culture is by engrossing in the way of life of a local. And I hope one day be able to host people from all over the world too.
Interests
I'm very interested in art, history and learning others cultures. Cooking (and eating), drinking socially and living life the fullest, if I'm being honest. I'm also very interested in Film (and by it I mean the technical stuff: recording, editing, creating), I love to record my surroundings at every opportunity and I'll probably have my phone or camera in hands at all times (not all the time, but you get what I mean). I love traveling and in 2018/2019 I backpacked around Europe for the first time by myself, which was..... crazy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm all about arts in general, but my greatest passion is definitely cinema. I can talk about it for hours and never get tired. I dream about getting to know many places where my favorites films/series were shot and hopefully I'll get to do that soon enough. I'm also crazy about music and I'm a concert lover (is that a thing? I'm not sure), I go to as many music festivals and concerts as I can.
Music: Lately I've been listening a lot to Fleetwood Mac, Izïa, Kendrick Lamar, Sufjan Stevens, Oscar and the Wolf, Boogarins, ODESZA, Childish Gambino, The Smiths...
Books: Can't quite list all books I love, but I can definitely assure you that if you ever ask me to recommend a book I'll say 'Veronika Decides to Die' by Paulo Coelho, it simply changed my life.
Movies: As I've said I love cinema, so I watch pretty much everything (except horror movies, not into scary stuff).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing life-changing, but lots of iconic things....
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Portuguese (the basics bc you'll find that it is one of the most difficults languages that there is), Brazilian food (I absolutely love cooking) and I can share about Brazilian culture (literature, music, dance...).
I'd love to learn about your culture, traditional foods and how's a typical day in your country. Or whatever you may be willing to share with me.
I'd LOVE to learn proper French (I had private lessons for a year, but I was practically scammed since all I did was watch Les Revenants with the teacher) and Spanish (I was never good at school, but I'm willing to get over my fears of losing my sh*t trying to learn) and Italian. Or whatever other language you may want to teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my Brazilian culture through language (Portuguese), art and food.
I can also teach you a thing or two about photography and editing.
