HI! My name is Denisa. I was born in Slovakia but because of my studies, I have moved to Brno. I was in the Czechia, Brno last 10 years. In 2025 I decided to quit my job as a photographer and wanted to move to some northern country. Iceland was number one choice so I moved there. It was best idea ever!

I'm an easygoing girl who loves new challenges, meeting new people and exploring our beautiful world!
In my free time, I still do photography but also I am a powerlifter so I spent a lots of time in the gym.

I love animals, good food and do not waste my time. My biggest passion is traveling and capturing these precious moments from different cultures and countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why? Because I think that is the best way how to meet local people, learn something about other culture and make traveling more interesting :) Also, you can see the city from someone who lives here, so he/she can give you a lot of tips. It is also nice when you meet somebody new and create new friendships over the world!

I would love to host as well but it is currently not possible - however I can be a local guide in Iceland and give you great tips if you will ever come to visit!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t have one favourite movie, but i like movies e.g.: like Inception. These movies which will blown your mind :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking - it is the best experience. I was scared for first time ever , filled with adrenaline but also felt adventurous. I did it also in Iceland and it is amazing to meet new people!
