A couple years ago, I went kayakking in Yakima, WA. It was maybe 110 degrees outside. For 4 hours, we drifted along the river - listening to music, drinking beer, admiring nature, and telling jokes. At one point, we were in between these 2 cliffs. The "water-line" on the cliffs was clearly visible, while it was retarded hot, the water was ice cold, and a cool blue. Something about the birds, vegetation, water, and all of the other little idiosyncrasies of nature makes you say "alright."

Among other things, my ideal situation is owning a piece of land somewhere in TN or south GA. I'd like to build a "solid" lakehouse, with patio overlooking the lake - not too many people around - eloquent, comfortable, and interesting. My interest is pursuing that situation
