Hi,
I am Maya and I'm from Israel. I've just started a year of traveling in Australia and New Zealand before I will start to study environmental engineering in university next year. Back home I live in a big city, but I always prefare being close to nature. I love hiking, stop in nice spots and absorb the view, and meeting other travellers and locals.

When I arrive to new places I like to stay at them for a while and meet locals to really get to know the place.

Right now I like to listen to Sufjan Stevense, Arcade Fire, Dry the River and Mumford and Sons.
Two of my favourite movies are probably 'what we did on our holiday' and 'what Maisie knew'. And I just watch 'hunt for the wilder people' which defiantly get into my list.
It is hard to say what is my favourite books but few of my favourite writers are: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Alice Munru, David Grossman.
