About Me
Hi! I'm Siobhan, a curious soul from Liverpool with a backpack and a big smile 😀
I'm a diagnostic radiographer by profession, but since 2014 I’ve taken some career breaks to follow my passion for travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. Whether it's sharing stories over street food or getting lost in nature, I'm always up for something that makes me feel connected and alive.
Couchsurfing has helped me discover the true heart of the places I visit through the people who live there. It’s shown me that happiness doesn’t come from luxuries but from openness, kindness, curiosity, and the ability to laugh with strangers who quickly become friends.
I’ve swum with hammerhead sharks in the Galápagos, walked on Antarctica, sandboarded in the deserts of Peru, fed deer in Japan, walked the Camino de Santiago, danced bachata in Argentina, eaten crickets in Mexico and chicken feet in Hong Kong, sang karaoke in Albania, climbed a volcano in Nicaragua, ran a marathon in Barcelona and gotten a bamboo tattoo on an island in Thailand. I love the feeling of being somewhere new, whether I’m hiking through the mountains or running through a city at sunset.
As a guest, I’m clean, respectful, and thoughtful. I’m happy to lend a hand, cook a meal, or just enjoy good conversation. I really value the generosity Couchsurfing is built on, and always try to contribute positively to the experience.
I’m kind, open, and considerate. I like to listen, learn, and connect. I love meaningful chats as much as spontaneous fun, and I believe small moments shared with good people are what make travel truly special.
