About Me

Hi, my name is Mateusz, i live in Łodygowice, beautiful village in the south of Poland surrounded by mountains. After finishing my engineer studies in Cracow i decided it is... something i do not want to do in life, as all my jobs required sitting and tinkering with machines and software without working creatively with people.

I am an enthusiast of personal development and karaoke, lover of fantasy and sci-fi movies-books-games and wannabe knight and entrepreneur. My current life-missions is to experience everything (that includes sliding from a butter-covered slide while coated with featers and singing "I believe i can fly"), find marvelous idea for business, travel the world and eat world's biggest Lasagne (in installments).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I got older and older I realized (finally...) that by travelling and meeting new people I can develop myself more than by sitting on my ass. And coachsurfing looks cool so yeeey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Visualizing certain situations can give almost the same effects as actually doing the thing, and it is excellent training method. For example, if you gonna give a public presentation and you are stressed as hell - exercise it at home alone, imagine your audience and everything that can go bad. Small chance you will totally delete stress, but you will familarize with the feeling and you will reduce the tension during presentation. Also, try analyzing challenges with worst-best method:
-What is the worst outcome from the worst possibility?
-What is the best outcome from the worst possibility?
-What is the worst outcome from the best possibility?
-What is the best outcome from the best possibility?
We mostly fear the uknown, so getting used to situation is one of the best ways to fight fear.
