-lived in a Buddhist monastery and met the Dalai Lama in Tibet
- volunteered to help the victims of the earthquake in Nepal
- swam with whalesharks in the Philippines
- rode horses and lived in yurts in Mongolia
- attended the Festival of Lights in Sri Lanka
- rode on top of the most crowded trains in India

AUSTRALIA
- surfed in the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay (NSW) and South Cape Bay (TAS)
- dived in the Great Barrier Reef
- went to Hobbiton movie set in Auckland
- hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing

AMERICAS
- backpacked from Mexico to Central America (Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua)
- hiked the extremely untouched rainforests of Costa Rica
- hiked to the exotic jungles of the Amazon in Brazil
- danced and partied in Carnavals of Rio de Janeiro
- got lost in the wilderness of the Atacama desert and survived for two weeks with less food and water

EUROPE
- lived and travelled with the gympie people of Romania
- hiked the Alps mountain range bordering Switzerland and France
- hitchhiked across Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania and Poland
