I'm Eileen, a Software Engineer from Hamburg. I enjoy being active in sports - I love playing tennis, kitesurfing, and practicing yoga. Besides that, I also like going out and exploring, whether it's dining out, visiting bars, or attending concerts. However, I'm open to trying anything else, like hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, or other adventures.
I have lived in Hamburg for several years, with some periods abroad and traveling in between. In December, I gave up my apartment to spent the winter in Spain. Right now i am back in Hamburg living in a temporary home for the summer, lookin for inspiration to decide where my next destination will be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsuring back then during my travels trough South East Asia. I had some great experiences so far and i would definitely like to add some more. I really like the idea of sharing without expecting anything but another enriching encounter. So once i find an own flat somewhere, maybe Hamburg, maybe somewhere else, i am looking forward to invite people to my place, as i consider it to be a way to invite a little bit of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed Stand Up Comedy in Vietnam, picked up turtle eggs right after they were layed to safe and protect the sea turtles and - as a person who normally doesn't even jump from the 1 metre board - did skydiving.
