About Me

Since I was a child I've been addicted to reading, specially science fiction and ancient Egyptian history books, which have been allowing me to explore unbelievable worlds; now it's time to discover the one where I live ;)

Heya! I'm a Spanish guy currently studying in Scotland, I'm a lover of languages (I really enjoy learning various random but useful words from different parts of the world, I know from Lithuania to China) I can speak good two though, and a bit of French. Learning more about other cultures, places and other people is definitely a thing I love and that I look for.
I consider myself as an easy going person, open-minded, very sociable and curious about almost everything. I'm a hug lover, and I truly believe that you gotta give a chance to every person in order to know them, avoiding your first impressions.
I spend my free time either listening to music (while singing and sometimes dancing of course, but please notice completely not in a professional way haha just for fun), enjoying the company of a book of adventures in a park, doing roller skating or hanging out with my friends. Also I love collecting coins from different countries, even with euros too.
When I'm less busy with the Uni I try to spend some Saturdays visiting nearby cities or back in Spain going to the mountains with my friends, as all of us love the hillwalking, and riding mountain bike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I shouldn't like to be here haha, I mean, Couchsurfing matches perfectly with my desire of be connected with other parts of the world by meeting new people and learning from them new perspectives, stories, ways of life, food, history of their country, plants (I really like to know about plants!)... eveything that people would like to share with me.
It's such an incredible idea that an amazing friend suggested me to use.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is quite diverse, although my favourites musical genders would be pop (including dance, a bit of electronic, latin music), electro swing (the 20' atmosphere it's amazing) and instrumental music (violin and piano it's the best combination for me, and my favourites instruments too, I don't know how to play them though). Opera it's quiet good too.

I enjoy science fiction and horror movies; I also like musicals (such as Grease, Mamma mia, and we could add in this list La vie en rose; it's more biographical though) and my favourite Disney film would be Hercules without a doubt. Harry Potter both films and books are quiet good too.

Recently I've been tending to read trilogies such as The Hunger games or The Maze Runne; but I'm very interested in distopic books and in the science fiction ones, in general.
If I have to choose three books they'd be ''Catching fire'' by Suzanne Collins (from the ''Hunger games'' trilogy), ''1984'' by George Orwell and ''Los renglones torcidos de Dios'' by Torcuato Luca de Tena.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm afraid I need to live more; some funny things I've done so far:

Smell different types of disgusting pathological urines.
Work with cancer cells, making them grow comfy in the lab; I'm the cell's daddy.
Observe a blood extension of myself, as well as another one of sperma (yeah, better not to ask).
Deal with diverse cultures of potencially dangerous microorganism such as Mycobacterium, Aspergillus, Klebsiella, and many more.
Be chosen to participate in the first line of non-profesional dancers in an Eurovision Song Contest videoclip.
Getting lost (and survive) for a whole day in the island of Mallorca, walking through a desert highway in somewhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I said Couchsurfing matches perfectly with my desire of be connected with other parts of the world by meeting new people and learning from them new perspectives, stories, ways of life, food, history of their country, etc; and I would be glad showing the same from my own country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could teach how to cook some of the Spanish food, I'm still learning myself though!
Personal adventurous stories, as well as share experiences and have arguments to make the experience more enriching, always with good vibes.
