Overview
About Me
Hi, I am Thijs, a lighting designer living in Amsterdam. Currently I am working on my own light fixtures and some side hustles. Always have had a interest for creativity in any form, happy to hear about your projects! Generally I am a rather calm person, open minded to explore new stuff (Couchsurfing is one of those things). If needed I can get some energy in for cultural events or a night out!
Just moved here, still exploring what Amsterdam has to offer. Interested in Museums, Cooking, Random Adventures and Design. Happy to hear your stories and share some positivity. In the weekends I do like to visit several parties, festivals and of course park hang outs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few years ago I got into Hitchiking, at first it felt a bit uncomfortable. However, now I am happy to enjoy this way of travelling, meet new people. It's a great way to travel slowly, appreciate the journey. Still exploring new ways of travelling, would love to hear about your crazy adventures!
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to talk philosophy and design! However it doesn't necessarily always need to be so serious ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Open to share deep and casual conversations, help with cooking and get to know your culture/friends/hometown. We can have a laugh, good talks, go out or just relax! Or maybe I can even help with your ongoing project.
