Overview
About Me
I smile a lot because I trust people easily and are very optimistic.
I am self-assure, resulting in patience and calmness.
I am very curious. I love to search for those special moments of happiness, which I find in music that takes you to unknown place, reading books, great self-cooked food, sceneric landscapes, stumbling through cities in the night and most importantly the atmosphere of spending evenings in rounds of lovely friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Still in school, I travelled Europe via train with two friends, sleeping in hostels and on beaches. That is, when I saw that you find hospitable people everywhere. With this confidence in mind I decided to spend a year after school in Uganda working in a small Health-Centre. And it was a wonderful experience. The exchange between people of different cultures is so enriching that I don't want to miss it anymore. Currently I am sharing a kitchen with 11 people, 5 are changing internationals. And now its time to take it a step further :)

Doing a social year in Uganda.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you all the languages I know, songs I have learned (traditionals and chorals), how to bake applepies, everything about my hometown Cologne and a fair bit about the region around Aachen, woodcarving, basics of tailoring, knitting, doing carpentry and welding, juggling the flowerstick, up to four balls and even torches, how to play the cardgame "Doppelkopf", human anatomy and placing needles in veins ;)
I can share with you my experiences about travelling East-Africa and Europe and many more.
I am eager to learn everything you have to offer: from dancing to noodlemaking, from drawing to apnoe diving :)
