I'm totally new to Couchsurfing. After years delivering cash in the UK and being held up in 4 armed robberies, I finally quit my job a few years ago and went chasing the dream of working on super yachts. It has been an amazing experience and I've met some pretty amazing people. Now, I've recently qualified as a yoga teacher and I can't wait to get this new chapter of my life started. I've also been lucky enough to do quite a lot of travelling over the last 8 years or so, so much so that I just know I'll never be able to shift that urge to just get up and go. Once you've got the travel bug it's there for life!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I love travelling and meeting new people, couchsurfing was recommended to me by someone I met whilst in Asia! I looked into it, thought it looks pretty cool, and so here I am!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, however I would say the only kind of music i'm not keen on is heavy metal and jazz. I love a good movie, especially a good comedy or a movie based on a true story. As for books I'm a bit of a true crime fan and books on historical events (holocaust, khmer rouge in cambodia, vietnam war etc etc).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rescued Naomi Campbell in our tender boat when hers was too big to moor up (she was lovely by the way) Met Leonardo Dicaprio that night too!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I swam competitively and got to national level so can teach anyone how to swim. I can also teach yoga and motivate people to get fit by doing training sessions together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share plenty of travelling information from the time i've spent travelling. If anyone is looking to get into the yachting industry I can share my knowledge on that to help you too.
