Hi everybody!

I am Marina and I grew up in a small city in the south of Spain called Cartagena. Following my adventurous spirit to know more places, new people, and be better connected to the world I moved to Madrid when turned 18 to study biomedical engineering. Later on, Madrid still got too small for me and I moved to US (Washington DC). There I met friends from all over the world and that's when I really realized that I wanted to keep this lifstyle... and here I am today in Sweden!

I am a really easy-going, amusing and open-minded girl. I love learning languages and, of course, travelling. In my free time I dance cuban salsa, do sports and go out with friends. I also love water color painting, photography and strolling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just moved to Sweden and life is so expensive that I have to cut back my expenses when traveling if I still want to know new places - and as expected I do - ! I am very pleased to meet new people, host them and therefore I though that this could be a good exchange platform to afford my trips.

- Swimming with sharks in Hawai'i without any cage - hair-rising but one of the best experiences I've never had!!
- Skydiving - it was a bet at first... but I'd repeat it a thousand times
- Swimming with wild rays in Cayman Islands
