Overview
About Me
I'm studying at the University of Oviedo, I study biotechnology. I live with my family in a big house in Vega, in the outskirts of Gijón, Asturias, Spain. We are a family of four members, my sister studies the same as me, my father likes bicycling and climbing, and my mother loves animals and TV series. I really love reading and traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now I'm in an Erasmus with a friend from my university. We are staying in Turku, Finland and we would like to travel a bit around the nordic countries, learn about the people and the culture, but the thing is that we don't have that much money, that's why we are on Couchsurfing. Until December we will be living on a student residence, for this reason I can't host anyone until that day, but from December and onwards you can come to visit the north of Spain and stay in my house, where I have a guest room with three beds.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite books: The Name of the Wind, Memories of Idhún
Favorite films: Shutter Island, The Princess Bride, Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Favorite music: come and discover the Spanish music! we not only listen to reggaeton, there is too much more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have travelled to Canada. London and around different places of Spain.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can cook together some typical Spanish dishes such as Spanish tortilla and also go out for dinner and try some typical Asturian food. We can talk about our experiences and the differences or similarities between our countries. Also, I can tell you about which places to visit in Asturias, good pubs and even accompany you to a place or take you there by car.
