Hi! My name is Carla, I am originally from Mexico but have lived on the Texas/Mexico Border my whole life. I have had the incredible blessing of being an avg of 15 minutes away from the USA or Mexico at any given moment all through my childhood. I love having conversations about the border and the beautiful people that live there.

I love couchsurfing and while I don’t have too many references I have couch-surfed many times. Many of those times were with my parents as they also have a passion for people and the connections you can make while traveling across the world. Other times with friends, and every single time it’s been amazing.

I love traveling not just to the place but through the people I meet along the way that are willing to share stories or experiences of their own countries.
