Hey:) I´m Nadine, 27 years old and from Frankfurt, Germany. After I graduated from my Primary Education course 2022 I travelled in Southeast and East Asia for almost 2 years. In October 2024 I moved to Austria to start a Master in the field of Gender Studies - realising there are so many important topics I was missing during my education course and want to learn more about - so that I can hopefully bring them into school in other ways.

I found my passion for travelling during my exchange year in Idaho, USA in 2014. After graduating from high school I spent half a year in New Zealand. I was lucky to study in Australia for a semester.

What else can I say about myself 🙊 I love music! I sing, play piano and the guitar. I am vegan, I enjoy doing yoga and hiking :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had my first couchsurfing experience in New Zealand, and really enjoyed it! In November 2019 I went to a concert in Germany with a girl I met on Couchsurfing. This pretty much shows why I love couchrfing. To connect with poeple all over the world. To learn about different cultures and see how people live.

In 2020 I couchsurfed in Australia when I was about to start my semester abroad. Three years later I went back and it was so great to catch up with friends I made through couchsurfing!

Pretty much since December 2022 I´ve been exploring Southeast Asia and I loved it! I realised travelling is so much more for me than just checking in a new hostel every few days and checking out the tourist spots - sometimes I missed it to connect with locals and to get an idea of what their life is like. These are the moments I really enjoy while travelling.
