Hello, my name is João (or John) and I come from Portugal, where I lived all my life however, I'm currently living and studying in the UK, renting a single room for myself, which, unfortunately, makes it impossible for me to be a host. EVEN SO, I am a great Portuguese teacher and I can cook some Portuguese traditional dishes, so I am sure I can always teach you new things about my country!

I'm an easygoing guy, might be a bit shy at the beginning, but once I get to chat with you for a while I'll be very social after a short period of time. I also really enjoy meeting new people, to go out in the city, to explore the countryside and to practice sports. I'm always ready to listen and to learn to new things.

At the moment I am studying Psychology but still remains uncertain, the future, after this course. Travelling or pursing masters are my two most likely options.

And I'll stop here because I don't want to bore you with things about me 😜.

I aim to travel around the world, with or without friends to get to know ''every corner in this globe''. I am very passionate about languages, culture, people, architecture, etc., and what a better way to discover more about it than to travel and meet people from places you have never been to?

Note: I created my profile back in 2017 but I ended up not using it because I haven't got the chance to travel up until now. But hey, I'm back! 😊

音乐、电影和书籍

Although I am not the biggest fan of reading, "Little Prince" remains forever as my favorite book. Harry Potter is a great saga that I deeply enjoy, both books and movies. As for movies only, super-hero themed movies have earned my love, especially Marvel ones (MCU).... I should really start reading more comics though 😥.
Nonetheless, my favorite movie award still goes to Call Me By Your Name 💙.

I traveled alone through Italy for one month and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. I went to Roma, Firenze, Siena, Bologna, Venezia, Verona and Milano, only spending 600€ (everything included!).
