I am a husband, father, writer, endless student in some capacity, and always itchy footed world explorer at heart.

I have travelled quite a bit solo, and also with my little family. We have enjoyed some epic adventures, and I am always on the hunt for new ones.
I also have a passion for meeting other adventure seeking, travelling, outdoor loving people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To give back in ways that I have been given to on occasion, and to meet fascinating people who are up to life in a real way.
To share our family couch to fellow travellers and enjoy meeting folks this way. To benefit occasionally from the same of someone else. Though travel is less often currently with school and young family, our kids and we can benefit from enjoying experiences and stories of others stopping by.

The Last Kingdom (series); and 500 Days of Summer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Versailles (series), House of Cards (series), This is Us (series).....

Teach, Learn, Share

Love learning, sharing, and hearing things about different places, experiences and cultures. Look forward to further learning to speak French fluently, and learn languages... love conversation and considering all things of life. Open minded and accepting, and enjoy people.
