Back in Couchsurfing after a looong hiatus (thanks, COVID; thanks, paywall).

During the last years, I've been constantly on the move, be it for studies or for travel. While off Couchsurfing (but sometimes using alternatives like Warmshowers), the experience remained the same: people are fundamental in making a trip more or less memorable. I've had the chance to host other travelers when I was living in Hamburg, and I'm hoping to make that a regular thing when I move to Bergen in October this year!

From July to September [2024], I will be travelling all over Japan in an attempt to climb all 21 ultra mountains in the country. Please refer to link below*. While initially planning to bike around, I ditched the idea (mainly due to logistics), and switched to hitchhiking (mostly) and using public transport (a bit less) to get from mountain to mountain.

I hope to be able to stay at local people's houses, in between hikes, to get a real taste (both figurative and literal!) of Japan. Hope to see you around :)

I'm back here to reconnect with locals and travelers. "Happiness is only real when shared", Christopher McCandless used to say. Moreover, I've made the effort of trying to learn a bit of Japanese before coming, so I'm hoping to improve that, too! English/Spanish/French-Japanese language exchange? :)

Music - Listen to pretty much everything, from ACDC to Bob Marley. Will discard reggaeton, if you ask me.
Movies - Not a big cinephile actually. A movie I really liked: "Good Will Hunting".
Books - I wished I read more. Last book: "The Da Vinci Code".

- Walked the Camiño de Santiago (1000 km over 24 days)
- Encountered two sharks while kayaking
- Tried skiing for the first time at -25°C... and loved it
- Took a daily photo for 5 years (2018-2023)
- Used Couchsurfing!
- Biked from Barcelona to Istanbul (2021)
