Hey there! My name is Tess, and I am currently studying abroad at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, NZ. I am an avid photographer (you can see my pictures on instagram @tessvandecreek), and am double majoring in marketing and film production. I really want to travel through the eyes of locals - I'm super interested in local life, and want to try to avoid doing everything the touristy way. I love meeting new people, and hearing their stories from their travels.

I like acoustics, electronics, rap, pretty much anything. My favorite movies are the lord of the rings trilogy, spirited away, and tree of life. I honestly can't decide on favorite books, I read a lot, but I'm currently working my way through the inheritence cycle.

Visiting the cook islands is definitely something amazing that I never thought I'd get a chance to do.
