About Me

I come from Valdivia, a beautiful city in the south of Chile.

Now I'm studying cultural studies in Leipzig because I like to learn about the amazing things that diversity can produce and also about what we are doing wrong, in order to be able to change things for the better.

I'm a relaxed person, sometimes too much. I like music a lot and I have self-tought myself how to play the guitar and the bass, but I really regret not puting more effort into practicing or learning theory. I like to get in interesting discussions and hearing or telling stories. I'm also interested in languages, literature, politics, gastronomy, history, board and strategy games, magic, movies, religions and when I can or have to I like to make costumes.
Sometimes I write short texts and poems. One of my goals is to spend more time learning and practising my writing, because it helps me emotionally and I really like it. Actually I need to learn how to be more disciplined.

I'm in the scouting movement since I was seven. This has become an important part of me and is the one thing in my life that I would never quit. The traveling or camping adventures, the love of nature, being happy with simple things and so much more are the reasons that make scouting my passion.
With my best friend Isabel we're now starting a new group in Leipzig which is called "Feuerland" and are really excited about having the chance to give back all what we've learned to the kids here.

I'm a flexible person and I like to help in whatever I can.

Some dreams and crazy wishes I have are:
Backpacking through Europe while I'm here, backpacking through Latinamerica, travelling to Asia, learning more languages, maybe work in a nomad medieval market for some time, go to a world Jamboree/Moot, writing a book, organize an awesome festival, making a really good cosplay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to know new places, cultures and people and I find couchsurfing the best alternative to do so from a closer perspective.
I’m always happy to know new, cool and interesting people and now I can host as much as I like.
I've had only good experiences both as host and traveller (only that it’s been until now only trough the account of friends).
It's just an amazing initiative :D
