Hi,

My name is Brett and I am a teacher from Australia. I also have an honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I am more than happy to chat about any of those topics but just know it is a can of worms. Once we start, I won’t be able to stop.

I love to learn, and a big part of that is learning new cultures. I believe we were put on this earth to love one another and in doing that we first need to make an effort to understand each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and develop an understanding of their culture and life. Whilst, being a tourist can be fun, getting to know a country from a local’s perspective can never be beaten - they always know the good spots, especially where to eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just went for a swim at the beach and then I saw a fin rise out of the water. I thought it was a shark and tried swimming away. But it ended up being a dolphin which swam right up to us. Gotta love Australia for that type of random stuff 🥺
