About Me

I'm just a traveling enthusiast with a passion of meeting new people. Traveling has always been the main source of happines in my life, so whatever I end up doing in life, I just hope I get to keep discovering new places.

I'm a physiotherapist (freshly graduated in July 2021) from Kraków, Poland but my main passion in life are travels. I did erasmus a few times (2x in Slovenia and once in Bulgaria + projects in Estonia and Spain) and that's when I realized that meeting people from all over the world and living in a new environment for a while are the most exciting things I can do. That's when I gain a lot of knowledge, exchange points of view and just get to know the world better. Also at one point I started traveling by hitchhike and using couchsurfing, which changed my whole perspective on travels. In summer 2018 my friend and I did over 6000 kilometers by hitchhike through all the Balkan countries (except Greece) plus Romania, Austria and Germany and met the most wonderful people you could imagine. I'm looking forward to repeating this experience in the near future. (edit: I actually did manage to "repeat it" - it happened during my 3 weeks long trip around Georgia in August 2021 - I had been looking forward to this trip for so long since it had to be postponed due to covid and it honestly even exceeded my expectations: there were lots of adventures, couchsurfing, hitchhiking, new people, astonishing kindness and hospitality of locals, and of course tons of unforgettable memories. Now I'm just looking forward to another similar trip :D). When I was still a student, during the academic year I was trying to use every single opportunity to go somewhere even for a few days, whenever I had some days off at university, because wanderlust is a disease I suffer from and I couldn't stay in one place for too long.

I still don't have too many references because when I was traveling before some requests were sent from my friends' accounts but in total I've had tens of couchsurfing experiences and none of them was negative. I loved all of my hosts, they were always super helpful and I appreciated their hospitality very much. I'm super happy to say that I even still keep in touch with some of them today (July '21). I'm hoping to meet more people like them in the future :D
