My name is Karen and I am 19 years old and from Denmark. I love traveling to interesting places, meeting new people, getting involved in projects that makes a difference and exploring new places.

I have am taking a gap year in between school, so i finally have the time to travel!

I've traveled a lot in Europe and lately also Russia, Mongolia and china. I'm currently staying in Portland for a few months and I'll soon be traveling down the west coast.

I love going out and exploring city life as well as I love a good hike in a beautiful nature scene. I also love watching a good movie, playing a fun game and having interesting conversations.

I am couch surfing because i want to meet people the places I travel and because I find this way of traveling much more authentic and interesting. I want to exchange travel experiences, smiles, laughs and languages!
