I'm an Italian girl travelling the world by bike.
I used to be a doctor, finished my residency in November 2024 and left Europe in December 2024 for New Zealand. I travelled around the country with my bike, an incredibly enriching experience. I then spent two months around French Polynesia. Flew back to NZ and then the plan was to go back to Italy by bike from Indonesia.... Things didn't go according to plan and due to a knee injury I went back to Europe for some months. Now I'm back to the original plan of cycling back to Italy but starting from Japan, crossing fingers for my knee!

Cycling is an awesome way to explore a country, very different from using a car, not only because you are slower: you get to see many places that you miss by car and to really experience the local life. People are very curious when they see me on my bike and I've been helped countless times on the road. Definitely my favourite way of travelling!

I am vegetarian but occasionally eat fish.
I love to travel, read, paint, learn new languages and meet people frome all over the world.

I've been hosted by many incredible people through Warmshowers (Couchsurfing for cyclists) and it's a really nice way to meet locals and share experiences. I think it's a great added value to travel!
I've hosted myself through Warmshowers so I know what it's like to be on the other side ;)
