About Me
Hi! I am Andre, I love meeting new people and I think the best way to learn about cultures and foreign lands is to actually get a bit of the taste of living around locals. It's so much more fun to learn about people and their customs rather than staying in a hotel just playing the classic tourist around town, knowing nothing and missing out on the things only locals know about!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seems to be the best place to know people, and a very good friend of mine recommended it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned French to fluent level in about 6 months
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching tennis; I like sharing experiences of places we've been to, and since I am from Canada (been living there for about 10 years, since I was a teenager), I love knowing about how people live and do things in other countries and cultures
What I Can Share with Hosts
The experience of being a teenager immigrant, adopting to a totally different culture, and how this shaped my views of the world and how I know understand how lucky I was by leaving my country of origin (Brazil), and how I am looking for ways in which I can try to be of help to the betterment of the quality of lives of other people on the long term. I also love a good old spiritual conversation (you know, deeper questions like the meaning of life, why we're here, is there a God, who are we; I love hearing peoples perspectives on that)
