I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK and developed a love for the outdoors and travel at a fairly young age. I'm a positive and adventurist person who loves to accumulate new experiences. I enjoy learning new things while experiencing new cultures and of course their food! Most of my free time at home is spent in yoga classes or out hiking.

I do a lot of traveling by myself and one of my favorite parts is getting to meet new people from all over the world. I've done a lot of hostels and airbnb but am new to the couchsurfing experience. It seems like a great way to get a local perspective, meet interesting people, and make traveling more affordable. That's a win, win, win in my book!

I like comedy, action, and drama movies depending on my mood and will always have a place in my heart for Disney. <3

For me going to Egypt was an amazing thing. It was something I had dreamed about since I was a kid and to be able to first hand see the history and the accomplishments of the ancient Egyptians as well as learn about and experience a culture so different from my own was truly unforgettable.
