I live with Dani (you can see her on the photo with me...where there is also a puppet).
We have travelled quite a lot. We think to travel is a fantastical way to discover other culture and people and ourselves.
Dani is Belgian from Brussels, she has lived some years in England and now lives in Italy. She is fluent in French, English and Italian ...she has started to study German and Spanish again but she doesn't know them very well.
We also have participated to 3 workaway's projects in Japan and in Finland.
We like to know new people and exchange our experiences and way to think and also share a bit of their life if they like it.
We work with theatre in the schools meeting mainly kids and teenagers but also adults, writing and acting our plays in Italian, French and English for Italian students who are learning these languages. We also use puppets of all kind of sizes, masks and ourselves as actors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people in their own life and to feel home everywhere in the world.
We like the idea that people can open their house as they open their mind and trust other people they don't yet know.
When travelling, getting inside somebody's home has a great value, instead of living a trip as a tourist remaining "outside" people's life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

only a 2 years ago we discovered workaway and we think it is amazing to do some of their projects...in the ones we have experienced we felt so comfortable and part of the country and the people.
For us to travel with the normal local transports, trains or buses or tuctuc in countries like Senegal, Laos, Peru or Nepal has been very precious and also very nice and welcoming.
Staying until night time in Machu Pichu site alone.
To stay in front of the sight of the Himalayan chain, the highest mountains appearing little by little beyond the clouds and behind the other smallest ones.

We know many crafts and artistic and expressive techniques . Games. Stories. Coking recipes.
We know some wild plants to heal and to feel well.
We think each person has his own story and experiences to share, and so we still have many things to learn.
To cook together new vegetarian dishes inventing.
To share how to prepare natural medicines like mother tinctures.
