Hi! I'm completely new to Couchsurfing, but don't worry: I've been travelling around and living in dorms before. I'm from Norway, where I'm studying to be an organic farmer and I'm living on a farm in the east together with 5 other trainees. I'd like to change the world (in a small scale) by making a shift in agriculture towards a more sustainable model, while still retaining the social aspect of working as a community.

OK -- that was the formal version. I'm 31, love food and cooking, meeting new people, both the one I share similar interested with and those that are completely different than me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the world through other means than restless passing through a shelter, motel or other place. As long as the host has time and energy for it, I'm absolutely up for seeing more of the city or town I'm visiting - that's one of the main reasons why I couchsurf.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Todd Terje, Lindstrøm, Aphex Twin, Kettel, Ochre.. I have been devouring electronic music since my uncle introducted me to it. Also a wide range of classical music, murky and gloomy jazz. Accordian and organ music, but I have come to understand it is considered to be one of the least socially accepted intruments -- don't worry, I won't play it for you.

Movies:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Aliens, Inferno, Donnie Darko made a big impression when I was a teenager. This list will be long, I love movies which have a real tale to tell and that keeps you captivated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach Norwegian or even English if needed. I'm a passionate amateur baker for whatever that is worth.

Although I find it unlikely to do that in a city, I'd like to learn more about woodworking. Knitting? Would love to make my own clothes.
