I love music and art. Am in the process of refurbishing my house and can welcome visiting travellers every now and then. I'm a good conversationalist and haven't travelled as extensively as I would have liked to. I've lived in London, Northern Indiana and Spain. I have travelled around Europe briefly (Lisbon, Munich, Paris, Stockholm, Helsinki), but not as much. And it was quite some time ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unexpected escape. Going to see Milburn in concert at Paradiso on Friday 23rd November. I've heard good things - love Arctic Monkeys. My B&B is insanely far away from the city centre and am hoping to be able to find a kind soul who can put me up for one night. Off to the Van Gogh Museum the next day and look forward to roaming the city before I head for Northern Holland, Medemblik to be more precise, the next two nights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught myself how to be fluent in French in a year and a half to get a job abroad. On the bus, when I was commuting. Sat on the floor if necessary. Painted my house by myself, no help from anyone and I'm a very small woman- A determined one. Sorry, no athletic feats or bungee jumping accounts here.
