My name is Ihabe, pronounced Iab. I am from Montreal and going to travel for the first time with my good friend Nathan. I study photography (mostly passionate about music tho) and he studies cinema. We are both college students, we are travelling to learn about different cultures and meet locals. Hopefully we'll acquire insightful knowledge from every new step we'll be taking on which we hope to be beautiful journeys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said in my bio, we are both college students and don't have much money so we're trying to travel light and cheap, but mostly we rather meet with locals and maybe share a day or two with them to really learn about the culture and the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of music in general.
I'm really into new jazz and soul jazz
I like to mix smooth electronic and synthetic music to live jazzy chords and meaningful lyrics
I love raggae, indie rock, dream pop, jazz
favorite band of all time is probably Radiohead tho
as for books I own a lot of french romantic, symbolic, modern poetry books that I like to read and analyse
but I mostly like psychological and philosophical reads.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I can I'd like to learn more about photography *film or not* as much as I'd like to share my knowledge with someone who's just starting and needs advice. If you need small guitar classes I can always give a hand or if you wish to jam I'm always in down for that.
I'd like to learn about the local culture and teach you about mine.
