Hello! My name is Jack, I'm a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan dual majoring in civil engineering and environmental engineering. I have decided to take a semester off my studies to reevaluate my my future and revamp my perspective of this world. Being where I'm at in life, I don't have the financial backing which is typically needed to travel. Couchsurfing could save me a bundle. Additionally, I enjoy learning from and about others which I imagine to be a common occurrence while couchsurfing.

I spent a month traveling throughout India during the summer of '16. Much of what I learned there has shaped my future aspirations and me as a person.
