Went on a solo backpacking world trip and now I'm exploring different places in Europe during days off.

I decided to stay in the country where I studied, so I am living and working in Scotland for a Member of Parliament.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived Delhi

Was on Dagestani TV in the prime time news for a solid 3 mins

Left home for an around-the-world trip

Lived with locals on the Tanzanian countryside for a while

Slept inside a prison in the guard's home in Namibia

Stayed with an old Zulu woman in a village without running water in South Africa

Strolled through a favela in Rio

Crossed Canada in the winter frome east to west with buses and trains

Walked barefooted on the Great Wall

Traveled to the heavily protected autonomous region Xingjiang in the far West of China

Hitchhiked in Kyrgyzstan

Traveled along the Tajik-Afghan border in the remote Pamir mountains with public transport

Swam in the salty waters of the remaining bit of the Aral Sea

Got the chance (as one of the only Westeners) to attend and dance on a traditional Dagestani wedding

Drank water from a stream in the high mountains of Chechnya

Moved to Russia for 7 months to learn Russian
