Hi there! I'm Izabela, but you can call me Iza! I'm from Brazil, currently living in Paris, and completely in love with discovering new places, cultures, and people. For the past couple of years, I've been solo traveling mainly across Europe and South America, and I've been collecting unforgettable experiences, friendships, and a good number of funny stories.

I really love learning languages and connecting deeply with others. I speak Portuguese (native), French, English, and Spanish fluently, and can hold a decent conversation in Italian and German. Lately, I've been diving into Moroccan Arabic (Darija), since I keep finding myself drawn back to Morocco, especially for surfing! 🏄‍♀️

🇧🇷 I grew up in Minas Gerais and studied in Rio de Janeiro, so I'm very used to sharing spaces, flatmates, couches, dorms, you name it! I truly enjoy the simple, enriching moments that come from sharing a home: good chats, a tea in the morning, or exchanging playlists and recipes (even though I’m not the best cook 😅). That said, I’m also quite discreet and respectful of personal space. If you need quiet, I totally get it.

I may not be a chef, but I’d love to cook a meal for us, and I can make a classic Brazilian dessert that never fails: brigadeiro.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to travel is by truly connecting with people. Staying with locals makes every trip more authentic!

I love sharing stories, practicing languages, and doing things together, whether it's cooking, walking around, or enjoying a hobby.

Lately, I’ve been very focused on surfing 🌊, but I’m up for pretty much any kind of sport or activity. I just enjoy spending meaningful time with others and learning along the way.
