Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm really keen to travel, but, like other uni students, I don't have the money to afford it! So I'm using Couchsurfing to cut the costs
Im also interested in imbedding myself in foreign cultures in the most rich, genuine way possible. By staying with a foreigner, in their own home, I think I'd get this in a way which can't be done otherwise

When I was in year 11, I went on a trip with the school orchestra to Iceland, Finland and England. Strangely, this was the first time I'd been overseas, so to go to Iceland, such a small, isolated, and far away place, of all countries, is a surprise to most people!
(NOTE: equally strange was that there was no snow in Iceland, during Winter!)
