I'm a 27 year old, born and raised in central Jersey. I got two bachelor degrees, one in Psychology and one in Philosophy, which means I'm always down for an introspective and thought provoking conversation. I've spent the last 5 years of my life working 80+ hours a week in the pizzeria business. At the start of 2018 I've decided to leave the pizzeria business, travel the world and finally put enjoying life above chasing money. I embrace adventure and strive for the personal growth that comes from stepping out of your comfort zone. I enjoy meditation, working out, drinking and socially connecting with other people.

I am on Couchsurfing because I am spending 2018 living like a nomad, trying to see and experience as much of the world as I can. I feel couchsurfing is not only a practical way to keep the budget down, but a way to interact and become friends with a local who can share the exciting elements of the area.

Although I am taking the year off to travel the world, I do not necessarily consider it a vacation. Any way I can give back to my host, whether it be work, chores, helping a friend move, I am eager to show my appreciation. As a solo traveler I would value and enjoy hanging out with the host, however I would also respect personal space and happily venture out on my own.
