Overview
About Me
✨ Hi, I’m Kamila (27 years old), endlessly curious and always chasing new experiences.
As a reporter I get to meet incredible people and ask the kind of questions that open up their stories – and I love every second of it.
FUN FACT about me: In 2023 at Sziget Festival in Budapest, I spontaneously got a matching tattoo with my friends (and even some strangers!) – it says YOLO, and from that moment on - I’ve really lived by it. :)
I started working abroad when I was 17 – as an au-pair in Malta and then in Ireland, afterwards I spent a year in Iceland. Today, I work for a company I truly enjoy, while still keeping my passion for exploring the world alive.
Most recently, I walked the pilgrimage from Porto to Santiago – and came back overflowing with energy, clarity, and positive thoughts. That’s exactly the vibe I want to spread further: enjoying life to the fullest, connecting with people, and reminding everyone (including myself) that we only live once. 🌍💫
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To hear people’s stories – I’m a good listener. And also because I love experiencing a country through the eyes of someone who truly lives there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve tried flyboarding on the Vltava River – and trust me, it’s called flyboarding for a reason, because you truly feel like you’re flying above the water.
I’ve hiked up to an active volcano, smelled the ash, heard the eruptions, and watched lava flow right in front of me – an unforgettable thrill.
I’ve raced through the snowy landscapes of Iceland on a snowmobile and stayed awake all night just to catch the northern lights dancing across the sky like natural fireworks.
And recently, I walked 300 km all by myself on the pilgrimage route from Portugal to Spain – a journey that gave me strength, clarity, and a whole new perspective on life. ✨
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the basics of Czech, share my best tips on what to do in Prague and across the Czech Republic, and most of all – I can pass on my positivity, curiosity, and love for meaningful conversations. As a reporter, I’m used to listening to people’s stories, so with me you’ll always have someone who’s genuinely interested in you and open to exchanging experiences.
