I enjoy different cultures and learning things from the locals rather than 'tourist things'. I think you’re better able to appreciate a country and its people better when you immerse yourself in the culture.
I’ve traveled around and would like to continue to do so and want to start doing things a little different, this is why I think couchsurfing would be a great way to meet new people and exchange stories and experiences.

Originally from Costa Rica and grew up in a multicultural city (Chicago) so I’ve always had an interest in learning more about the world around me.

I am on couchsurfing because I enjoy getting lost. The best way to do that is with the warm, local, friendly people you meet during your travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Perú, going from Urumbamba in microbus to be dropped off in Moray. Then walking from Moray to Maras, passing the Salineras and ending at Ollantaytambo while taking the backcountry. The scenery was one of the most beautiful treks that I've done.
