Hi there, I'm Lena a 21 years old girl from Germany, Bavaria. I graduated from high school last year and before going to university I would like to explore as much of our beautiful world as possible. At the moment I'm working as a 'special needs teacher' for young children with diverse disabilities. I love to take care of my mental and physical health, thus you will probably find me most of the time working out in the gym, doing some outdoor activities (hiking, biking, yoga), reading books to feed my mind with or meeting my beloved ones. I'm always ready for having a good time as well as for deep long conversations.

The reason why I opened up my couchsurfing-profile is because my sister and I are going to make a trip around the world starting at this years 16th of july. We're looking for openminded, adventurous, nice and funny people to spend our time and share our stories with. I think staying with a local gives you a total new feeling/experience of traveling: you have the opportunity to make new friends and discover a country and culture with all its authenticity. I love reading 'modern poetry' books written from so called 'Instapoets' like Lang Leav, Rupi Kaur or Beau Taplin. But I also enjoyed reading 'The Alchemist' and 'Men's searching for meaning'. One could actually say that I love to read books who open up your mind and inspire you to think!

Do I really have a favorite type of music? - I think I don't have because I literally listen to every kind of music depending on mood and activity. And I really love people who show me some new good stuff - it's priceless!
