About Me

Hi there! I'm Lea from Switzerland. Currently, I'm enjoying my gap year before university (I'm going to study psychology and biology). Working, traveling, relaxing - that's what I'm doing during this time.
I consider myself as an outgoing, spontaneous and friendly person - so I'm open for new experiences and meeting people from all over the world!
But I also like to be on my own. Reading a good book, listening to music (or playing some on the piano!), going for a walk, spending time in nature, these are a few of my favorite things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing is the best way to travel! It's amazing to stay with people from the country and really dive into a culture instead of just staying on the surface. That's why I'm looking forward to spending time with you :-)

In April and May 2018, I want to travel with a friend from Germany. We're planning to go to Spain, Portugal and Morocco. We'd love to spend some time at your house!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love fantasy books. The classics of course (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Eragon... ) but also less popular ones. But if a book is well-written and interesting, I don't really care about the genre :-)

Mostly, I listen to jazz music. But I'm also a big fan of rock and funk (Red Hot Chili Peppers!!).

Movies? I'm not into action or horror movies, otherwise it doesn't really matter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Ireland - for three months. Working on a farm with horses was hard, but I learned a lot and Ireland is truly amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't teach you more than anybody else. Well, a few words in Swiss German perhaps, but who speaks that language anyway :-D
But as any person, I can talk with you, share my experiences and maybe think of something you wouldn't have. In return, you can do the same for me - and that's where we both profit. Additionally, we might have a really nice time and laugh a lot. ;-)
