Hi there!

I'm Lulu, a young girl from Uruguay, travelling for the first time to meet new people and their culture! I left home last year to live in Dublin, where I had the opportunity to enjoy some weekend getaways to get to know more of the world! I believe it is always handy to have some couch-friends to spend the night every now and then, because that's the best way to truly meet locals and their culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it is a very fun way to meet new people so as to create a cultural exchange! Besides, getting to know a city by a local is the best way to do it. I've always been fond of learning other languages and learning form other people's lifestyles, so I think that staying with locals is the best idea to make the most out of this experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? Extremely broad taste. From Paramore, Arctic Monkeys or Fall Out Boy, to latin music like Calle 13 or Cultura Profética; going over some pop where Ed Sheeran or Pink are must-haves on my playlists.

Movies? One from every genre you can think of. My favourite of all times will always be "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" cause potterhead.

Books? Mostly English literature, but nowadays reading a lot of Feminist related pieces from Spanish-speaking authors.

Stepping on the very edge of the Cliffs of Moher (Ireland), in spite of my fear of hights and vertigo!

Photography is one of my greatest passions so if you are willing to pose, I'll be delighted to give away some shots!

Besides that, I am an English and Spanish teacher back home so if you're willing to improve your speaking/listening skills, why not spending time together?

Finally, even though I am not a professional chef, I am really into cooking, so dinner could be on me if I have the chance to do it!
