Dear reader,

I'm originally from Lithuania and currently working, studying, and living in Groningen, the Netherlands. I'm a budding artist in my fine art bachelor's studies, focusing on cultural studies as a celebration of diversity, and food as a part of cultural identity. My art-related works are provoking capitalist ideology of consumption, racism, and exploitation of migrants and women's rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently, I'm on Couchsurfing because I travel from time to time. I'm looking to meet local people, hear their stories, and get recommendations for the places they know well. In exchange, we could share traditional food recipes, cook together, or find cultural events that would be worth visiting. And who knows, maybe we can become friends and you could visit me in the Netherlands or Lithuania!

Music, Movies, and Books

If you know local Jazz Cafes in your town, I would be the person to visit every single one of them, and enjoy the music every free hour in the evening. The next place I would be addicted to is second-hand book stores, but it's better to keep me away from them in case of time management issues.
