Hello everyone,

My name is Lauriane, a French girl who has spent the past 5 years of her life in amazing Scotland! Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and amazing people, I truly loved my time there but the time has come for me to change horizon, to be more in line with my personal goals and expectations from life.

Although I am immensely grateful for my past professional experiences in the Tourism industry that have allowed me to get more confident with managerial and organisation tasks, I came to the conclusion that seating on an office chair all day, looking at a computer screen without any direct relationship with the client has never really suited me.

I have been called “the Karma girl” by my colleagues this year because of a Lavender essential oil water I brewed myself to spray onto their faces to release them from stress and anxiety :-) I really need to reconnect with Nature, the trees, the mountains, the rivers, the ocean and I am coming to New Zealand for this reason.

I am traveling around NZ mostly using the wwoofing system, I find places to work and I do not want to complicate things, I actually want to slow myself down from the hectic jobs I had in Scotland, and try to be away from technology as much as I can.

My dream job for the future? I would like to run my very own Guesthouse one day, being able to combine things that I am passionate about: enthusiasm, sharing stories, people, foreign languages, Nature, good quality food and a nice cosy atmosphere ! But I definitely need to gain experience to be able to get this business opened one day.

FYI - I won’t have a car, I thought it would be good to mention it now, I would need a lift from the closest point I can get to.
