im from turkey, but live in porto/portugal. i am doing ''evs'' in porto! so, i'm a volunteer in here.
I born in Hatay and in Turkey
we have a phrase for my hometown which is “city of civilizations”. People who comes from different
cultures such as Christian, Armenian, Arab, Turkish, Jewish and many other lives in peaceful
environment in my hometown. I was very lucky to born in Hatay. Multi-cultural environment give me
a chance to make a friend from different culture. Nature is also amazing. Because, city is between
mountain and sea and it gave me an oppurtunity to touch different kind of weather and landscape in
small area. This experience didn’t satisfy me. For meeting and observing the other people, I sleep
with them even if I didn’t speak their language. However, this experience teaches me more
important thing which is respect and sympathy. When I was 19, I decided to leave from my
hometown for better education. Then, I enrolled in Gazi University, Faculty of Finance which is one
of the best university in Turkey. University is located in Ankara which is capital. During my university
education, I took place in big project and learned how to survive in huge city. Also at my free time I
went to camping activity with my friends. With that inflictor activity I achieve very important skills
and it makes me more disciplined and responsible person. This year, I graduated from my university
then I realize, I would like to meet with many other people and discover different spots of world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

so i want to continue volunteer life and i want to travel some part of the world.
the most important thing when I travel is to feel the culture of the country I am in. for the this reason couchsurfing is best option for me.
